Tymn Waters and The Hard Road – American Excess Collection is the debut recording as a solo artist for Tymn.

 

Most songs were co-written with Beau Meek (BMI). It was recorded at Waterworks West Studios in Tucson AZ, produced by the legendary Jim Waters (Sonic Youth, Jon Spenser Blues Explosion) with additional production by Jennifer Chaos Herold and his songwriting partner, Beau Meek.  Guest musician and guitar genius, Kid Congo Powers (Gun Club, Nick Cave, The Cramps) played on two of the tracks and the results are stellar.  The collection charted on the National Folk Charts as high as number 3 and remained there for several weeks, adding stations at an impressive pace.  Links will take you to downloads.  You will find snippets of the songs for you to get a sense of the flavor.
